Equipping this item grants the Kingmaker's Presence buff to nearby allies. It does not affect the user. The effects of the buff depends on the version of the Kingmaker, which the pre-3.6.0 legacy item only grant Culling Strike and increased Item Rarity (IIR). Note that the "nearby" range is very small; it is measured to be a 3 metre radius. Using the Meat Shield support will keep an Animate Guardian equipped with the Kingmaker from wandering outside of the player character's range while standing still. When the character walks around however, the Animate Guardian will fall in and out of range to apply Kingmaker's Presence. | ||||
